About UC Santa Cruz

Since its founding in 1965, the University of California, Santa Cruz, has earned international distinction as a university with high-impact research and an uncommon commitment to teaching and public service.

From 652 students in 1965, the campus has grown to its current (2016-17) enrollment of more than 18,000 students. Undergraduates pursue bachelor's degrees in 65 different majors supervised by divisional deans of arts, engineering, humanities, physical & biological sciences, and social sciences. Graduate students work toward graduate certificates, master's degrees, or doctoral degrees in 41 academic programs under the supervision of the divisional and graduate deans.

8.5 years at UCSC where I am the Coordinator/lead instructor for the multi county active shooter & casualty care response training. Firearms, patrol rifle, FX and baton instructor. The departments TLO. Detective for 5 years with the City of Brentwood Police Department.

Event Information

Our Events

We have participated in the Police-N-Pursuit which benefits special Olympics and we hold a citizens academy three times a year. Officers here have contributed in RAD, Police/Fire Olympics, hosted the yearly multi county active shooter training, civilian/staff active shooter training. Officers have received the MADD award and multiple officers have received the life saving award.
