About UC Riverside
The University of California Police Department, Riverside was established in 1954. The Police Department is a professional police agency staffed by individuals who cherish and preserve the highest standards of conduct and performance. We are proud of this department and every member of the organization. Employees have showed continuing dedication and leadership in law enforcement through their own initiative. All members of the department are responsible for upholding this fine tradition.

Board Members
Wade Stern
PRESIDENT
Wade has served on the FUPOA Board since 2017 and has been with the University of California Police Department (UCPD) as a Police Officer since 2002 where he’s currently assigned to patrol. Wade has served in law enforcement in one capacity or another since 1991. Prior to being on the FUPOA Board of Directors, Wade served as President of a large Homeowners Association and on the Executive Board of Directors for the Corona General Employees Association. Besides being on the FUPOA Board, Wade is the Manager of his son's baseball team and serves as the Chairperson on the School Site Council at his son's school.
